Accommodation in rooms at the Villa Gaia, a charming *** hotel in a large wooded garden. Easy hikes (level 2/5). Price: €740. Optional single rooms.

Rise up on discreet paths to encounter works of art mysteriously arranged in nature. Walk in the footsteps of two internationally renowned artists, Andy Goldsworthy and herman de vries, through the breathtaking landscapes of Haute-Provence. Breathe clean air in a peaceful natural setting. Then enjoy a meal in a charming hotel, prepared with quality local produce. This is the memorable journey we propose.

Between Provence and the Alps, the wild, mysterious and little-visited landscapes of the Dignois region are home to the world's largest museum of art in nature. Launched at the end of the 1990s, it houses a unique collection of mountain art, featuring numerous contemporary and land art artists, including herman de vries and Andy Goldsworthy . Goldsworthy's collection is the largest of its kind in the world.

Each day, we'll set off on short walks to discover special places. Unique in the way a work resonates with its landscape and the history of the place in which it is housed.

Because the Dignois region was also Alexandra David-Néel's last place of residence. And because Alexandra David-Néel, adventurer, writer and first woman to reach Lhasa, Tibet, in 1924, preceded all our walking artists on the trails we'll be covering, we'll also be visiting her home and the museum dedicated to her.

Finally, we'll round off our stay with a visit to the Gassendi Museum, the cradle and orchestra conductor of all these achievements, where scientific curiosities and works of art come together in a highly original museography.

Stay scheduled from 8 to 11 May FULL: Stay operated by the Vercors Escapade agency and under its registration

Stay scheduled from May 15 to 18: Stay operated by the Vercors Escapade agency under its own registration.

Stay scheduled from May 29th to June 1st: Stay operated by the agency Vercors Escapade and under its registration.

Level: 2/5, accessible to all walkers

On request, all year round (spring and autumn periods recommended).

34
{"1":
Accommodation and all meals from dinner on May 15 to picnic on May 18 (dinners, picnics and breakfasts)"},"2":
The services of the guide, a state-qualified AMM and mountain art guide certified by the Gassendi museum.
