After studying English and Chinese, Ariane lived in China for 12 years where she guided stays in Yunnan and Tibet. Since 2013, she has accompanied hikes in the Southern Alps and Corsica, which she animates with her passion for the culinary and medicinal uses of plants and for the history of our ancestors revealed by the landscapes.

Charles SPETH
After working in export, Charles changed course in 2002 to settle in the Alpes de Haute-Provence. By hiking, he was able to get to know every corner of this previously unknown territory. He invites you to discover the mid-range mountains around Digne-les-Bains, and the many works of Art in the mountains, through itinerant and star-based stays.

After studying literature and history, starting her career as a radio journalist and then working for several years as a manager for the major hiking agencies, Coralie – whose family roots are in a small village near Digne-les-Bains – now organizes her own hiking holidays, in a spirit of adventure and authenticity, in France, Europe and beyond.

Before settling in the Alps, Luc spent ten years in China, where he learned Mandarin and worked as a journalist and essayist. A specialist in survival in natural environments, he has organized numerous expeditions to Tibet and Tierra del Fuego. Marine HERBOMEZ
Always attracted by the wild mountains, Marine decided to settle in Barles 10 years ago, to create an equestrian farm. She gradually gave up everything to do what she loved most, to live close to her animals and nature, at the end of a track, at the end of the world. From this farm in Barles, she offers various rides or horseback or carriage rides between the different works of art in the mountains.

Matthieu CARON
After university training in ecology, Matthieu quickly became a mountain guide, sharing his passion for flora and nature in general with schoolchildren, families and adults. Simon DE BERGH
Having grown up far from the mountains, he chose the intense light of the south and the heady scents of the Mediterranean mountains. His approach? Not to try to get to the top too quickly, but to take the time along the way to discover the “other sides” of our mountains. A geographer by training, he likes to weave links between the history of the Earth and that of human beings.

Yvan THÉAUDIN
Following many trips, Yvan settled in 2002 near Digne-les-Bains, in Prads-Haute-Bléone. After studying history and geography, he trained in geology with the Haute-Provence Geopark and in contemporary art with the Gassendi Museum. His experience allows him to read a mountain landscape as well as to shed light on the artistic and spiritual dimension of the territory

Andy Goldsworthy’s art refuges with our donkeys
This stay with our donkeys offers a taste of adventure on a land art itinerary. It is fascinating to find ourselves walking at the slow pace of donkeys carrying our bivouac equipment on old paths embellished for twenty years with many works of art in the middle of nature. It is a question of following the route Refuge d’Art by Andy Goldsworthy which crosses our territory from north to south.
