"It is what happens and passes, what stops, what remains, time to see, to smell the shadow, to listen to the light, to breathe the whisper, to discover the particular." (Agathe Larpent – 2023)
Take the time to stroll through the wonderful Saint-Benoît park of the promenade museum, then all along the majestic Bès valley. Take the time to pause in contact with poetic or unusual works of art inscribed in the landscape like so many memories of the passing of time. Spend a convivial evening at the gîte de Flagustelle, in an unspoilt setting. This is the unique itinerary we propose.
The Gassendi Museum's mountain art collection wanted to be integrated into a preserved natural environment, that of the world's first UNESCO Geopark. The works then take on a new meaning of the development of the rural environment by bringing their originality while keeping their specificity as "in situ" works.
On this trip, you won't need to be a hiker, as all the works we'll be talking to require less than half an hour's walk to discover. Here, artistic discovery takes precedence. The art of man, interwoven with the art of nature.
We will end our stay with a visit to the Gassendi Museum, the cradle of the collection which hosts, like an echo, works by some artists we have already met (in particular the Hydropitheque room by Joan Fontcuberta).
